    Due to the pressing need, WHO is working closely with MOH and DOH-Latakia to relieve the suffering of the affected people through providing equipment and medications: 200 Oxygen cylinders, ECG devices, Nebulizer devices, First aid kits, Salbutamol, Hydrocortisone and IV fluids.

    15 patients along with the medical staff had to relocate to Teshreen University Hospital and the National Hospital of Lattakia on 10 Oct and the hospital now is out of danger, safe and to return to normal.

    - Al-Qerdaha Hospital: Patients were relocated to Jable Hospital, 20 km away. - Al-Haffeh Hospital: Consisting of 120 beds, it is the main treatment facility for patients in Lattakia.

    Fires in affected areas were in close proximity to health facilities. As a precautionary measure, the patients & staff from the two nearby hospitals were relocated. Fires were controlled on 11 Oct and now Al Haffeh hospital resumes its work.

    As of 10 October, 3 people died as a result of the fires that broke out in Rural Lattakia. Several people are suffering from suffocation and were admitted to functional hospitals in the area.
